The mission of Keep Lincoln County Beautiful is to educate, inspire, and empower our community to improve the environment through beautification, litter prevention, and recycling.
Keep Lincoln County Beautiful is committed to creating and maintaining a beautiful home for all Lincoln County community members. We are able to achieve this through the hardworking volunteers who are devoted to our mission of increasing recycling and reducing waste, ending littering, and beautifying the county through environmental focused projects. Through these mission goals, we are able to help Keep Lincoln County Beautiful.

Who is Keep Lincoln County Beautiful?

Keep Lincoln County Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. We were certified on February 15, 2019, but our members efforts began long before that. We are a non-profit, charitable environmentally-focused organization. We participate in local events, raise awareness of the impact of the future of our environment caused by our actions, and work on projects throughout Lincoln County to help promote our mission.

KLCB Committees
To better focus on the details of the KLCB mission, KLCB has created three Committees to target the three main goals of our mission. These Committees include the Litter Prevention Committee, Recycling Committee, and Beautification Committee. If you would like to join one of our Committees, please contact us!
Litter Prevention Committee
​
The Litter Prevention Committee works to reduce the amount of litter in Lincoln County. This is done through organized events, individual cleanups, public education/prevention, and other methods of litter prevention. Come and join us for a litter cleanup to keep your home and community beautiful and clean.
Recycling Committee
The Recycling Committee works to decrease overall waste. We do this by encouraging the 3 Rs - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle in every way, everyday! This committee may do things like providing reusable bags at local events, promote educational messaging, and even provide craft opportunities to promote waste reduction and reuse.
Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee works to make Lincoln County a more beautiful place. This may include cleaning up medians and storm drains, planting flowers and trees, giving out seeds and trees to the public, painting murals, and so much more. Beauty is what we make it, and we are happy to contribute to the beauty throughout Lincoln County.
