Keep Lincoln County Beautiful attends and presents several events throughout the year. This page is updated to keep our volunteers informed of the events. Remember, without our great volunteers, we wouldn't be where we are today.
All volunteers must complete our Volunteer Waiver and Release Form, along with completing a Volunteer Consent Form. Volunteers under 18 years of age must also have an parent/guardian read the Waiver and Release, and complete their own Consent Form.

Betty G. Ross Park - Boat Access Ramp
Volunteers will be helping us clean around Betty G. Ross Park, along the riverbanks, and in the South Fork River. Carolina Kayaking will be providing a limited amount of kayaks, along with PFDs and paddles, for use during this event. KLCB will be providing litter cleanup tools and garbage bags. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own cleanup supplies and/or kayaks. Water volunteers will be entering the water at the Launch area guided by one of our volunteers. Transportation will be provided at the end point back to Betty G. Ross Park. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and/or snacks.

Come join us for some fun in the sun! Volunteers can clean up in Beatty's Ford Park, on the disc golf course, one of the walking trails, or on Lake Norman. We need Boat Captains and volunteers to help clean up Lake Norman and surrounding islands. Volunteers will be provided litter cleanup tools and garbage bags. Boats, kayaks, canoes, jet skis, etc are all encourage to help! If you live nearby, you may even sail over to get your supplies.

Join us, along with other businesses, organizations, and vendors during this local free family-friendly event! Fun, food, and shopping all in one place. Volunteers are needed before, during, and after this event. Table volunteers are needed to engage with attendees, answer questions, etc. Setup and Breakdown volunteers are needed to help set up our tent and table/breakdown our tent and table. Shifts will be 2 hours for table volunteers, 1 hour for setup/breakdown volunteers. Volunteers may bring their own chairs, drinks, and snacks though some will be provided by KLCB. Sign-up for this event is required in order to ensure all shifts are covered. Volunteers must be 18+ years of age.
